The Sector of Mineral Technology of the Center of Nuclear Technology Development (CDTN), carried out a study of mineralogical characterization and developed a study of flotation in laboratory in order to ascertain the technical feasibility of recovering the graphite (annex XIII). The results of this work show that a graphite concentrate was achieved with a 90,7% content and 87,2% carbon recovery, by using a circuit made up of one rougher stage, three cleaner stages and two scavenger stages.
